Sethi: Ready National Stadium for PSL final in February

LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Najam Sethi on Wednesday said that the renovation of Karachi’s National Stadium for Pakistan Super League (PSL) final will be completed in February.

Speaking in a press conference on Wednesday, Sethi said that the renovation of National Stadium is in full swing.

“We hope that the franchises will support us in this regard as the right to pick the players rest with them,” Sethi said.

He added that Dubai and Abu Dhabi are requesting for matches to be staged in their cricket grounds.

Sethi went on to say that regional players will be selected in the cricketing league. He added, “We will try to create more franchise in the league”.

He said that audit for PSL 1 has been complete whereas the audit process for the second edition of the cricket league is in process.
